| Project description |
The overall objective was to strengthen administrative capacity to develop an environment conducive to trade development: The purpose of this contract was to support trade in agricultural and food sectors, in particular livestock and products of animal origin. The I&R system serves several purposes such as veterinary control, integrated quality control, progeny testing, farm and slaughterhouse management, and facilitating trade. It assists in simplifying trade relations with the Member States and other countries that accept EU standards. |
| Type of Services provided |
- Audit of I&R legislation, business processes and implemented software solution, analysis of cross-cutting issues aimed to implement bovine animal identification and registration Serbia in compliance with all the provisions of Title I of Regulation 1760/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council as amended
- Provision of a detailed action plan for the extension of animal identification and registration to other species (as a minimum those covered by the provisions of Council Directive 92/102) in compliance with relevant provisions of the acquis communautaire approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and under implementation
- Development and implementation of a strategy for the exchange of data from animal identification and registration IT systems with other IT systems of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, other Ministries or other bodies involved of the public administration approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management
