| Project description | In collaboration with the Agency for Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEDA) the Consultant prepared a study on the meat sector in Montenegro. The study was aiming to support relevant stakeholders of the meat sector to develop a strategy for the further development of the sector. The study comprises beef, sheep meat, porc and poultry and analyzed the value chains from primary production to consumption. Special attention was given to the production of Njeguschi ham and future opportunities of marketing this product to EU member states. |
