| Project Description |
We are permanently looking for potential Team Leaders and other Key Experts in the area of food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary police for upcoming projects in the Balkan region.
Overall objectives of the projects are to improve the protection of human animal and plant health by strengthening institutional capacity of the food safety systems.
Main project purposes are to improve the institutional framework for food safety in the relevant countries by strengthening the existing system of competent bodies and institutions in order to ensure an integrated multidisciplinary approach, covering all food chain stages. |
| Job Description |
- Administrative and Institutional stregthening of competent authorities for food, veterinary and phytosanitary police
- Implementation of ABP strategy
- Phytosanitary Monitoring programme for plant health
- Preparation for Accreditation of inspection services in accordance with adequate EU standard (EN 45004 or another standard if more relevant for the tasks in question

| Qualifications |
- Min. 10 years experience in the requested area of expertise (food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary)
- Experience with EU food safety legislation and accreditation procedures
- Pofessional experiences preferably gained in veterinary / phytosanitary directorates or other relevant insitutions or state organisations
